The opponents’ assessments of the PhD thesis will reflect on the following:
- originality of research question,
- significance of project within a national and international context,
- internal coherence, line of argumentation, consistency of methodology,
- familiarity with relevant secondary literature, ability to elaborate on referred material: appropriate acknowledgment and critical continuation of previous seminal research,
- conceptual clarity, definitions, theoretical knowledge,
- criteria of selection of primary textual corpus analysed,
- research findings, results, conclusions, prospects for follow-up research,
- format, apparatus, length,
- language, style.
