I am looking for collaborators who’d volunteer their time and energy in devising a new course on online social media in TEFL.
Based on Dr Meskó Bertalan’s work with social media and medicine, a group of 5-6 students with my supervision and/or mediation will explore the possibilities of ELF teachers in crowdsourcing, blogging, microblogging, wikinomics, web 2.0 and the like. We’ll meet once a week for a 90-minute session, discussing group and individual assignments targeting the creation of a new course on online social media in TEFL.
Your efforts will be rewarded by being on the credits of the course when it eventually starts, by being offered team-teacher positions later, by my own personal gratitude 🙂 and by the experience itself, potentially worthy in the eyes of journal editors, prospective employers and your future students.
No credit, but due credit! 🙂
If you are interested, drop me a line by 20 January with a short (max 200 words) paragraph on “me and social media” and another short paragraph on why you’d benefit from this collaboration.
