Mud Nostalgia is the story of a young, holiness woman, struggling to understand her life and her faith in light of a devastating act of betroyal. Having barely survived staggering abase at the hand of her husband, she desperately seeks understanding – her own and ours. Handling snakes, she explains , is “one half faith in the Holy Spirit and one half faith in modern doctors.” Combining humor, traditional Appalachion music, and personal reflections on the nature of life and love, Mud Nostalgia offers a touching glimpse of the beauty of the spiritual faith and the tenacity of the human spirit.
