Use Times New Roman 12, with 1.5 spacing and indented paragraphs. Sources should be referenced using the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagomanualofstyle.org\/home.html\" target=\"_blank\">Chicago\u2019s Manual of Style<\/a>&#8216;s <strong>author-date<\/strong> documenting system (check it out in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ieas-szeged.hu\/download\/IEAS_style_sheet_rev2021.pdf\">IEAS Style Sheet<\/a>, too).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: Students are obliged to submit their PhD dissertation within a period of three years after passing the comprehensive examination. If you are uncertain about the exact date of your comprehensive examination, please <a href=\"mailto:btkdokt@arts.u-szeged.hu\">contact the administrator<\/a> of Doctoral Affairs at the Faculty of Arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After you have passed your internal defense (\u201ch\u00e1zi v\u00e9d\u00e9s\u201d), please contact the administrator of Doctoral Affairs for an application form, a detailed protocol on uploading your dissertation and related documentation to the website of the Klebersberg Library of the University of Szeged. <strong>The three steps of submitting your PhD dissertation<\/strong> are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1) <\/strong>Send the following documents in PDF format to the administrator of Doctoral Affairs at the at the Dean\u2019s Office: your dissertation, the thesis r\u00e9sum\u00e9 booklets (one in English, one in Hungarian), List of Publications (as registered in MTMT), Foreign Language Certificates, and a 1 page long CV in third person narrative form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2)<\/strong> Submit in hard copies to the administrator of Doctoral Affairs at the Dean\u2019s Office:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the filled in, dated and signed application form<\/li><li>1 printed copy of your dissertation (1 hard-cover bound copy which must be one side printed document)<\/li><li>1 printed copy of the Thesis R\u00e9sum\u00e9 Booklet in English (double side printed)<\/li><li>1 printed copy of Thesis R\u00e9sum\u00e9 Booklet in Hungarian (double side printed)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>The Thesis R\u00e9sum\u00e9 Booklet (T\u00e9zisf\u00fczet)<\/strong> includes the table of contents and a brief outline of your Dissertation in 20.000-40.000 characters excluding spaces and footnotes, with the addition of  your list of publications. The Thesis R\u00e9sum\u00e9 Booklet must be provided in English (the language of the program), and a succinct  Hungarian version of merely 2000 characters (cc 1 page abstract). These &#8211; the English and the Hungarian version &#8211; can be bound and printed as a single booklet for the hard copy submission but should be uploaded as separate documents on the online repository.<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3)<\/strong> Upload to Szeged University\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/doktori.bibl.u-szeged.hu\/\">Repository of Dissertations<\/a> an electronic copy of your dissertation and thesis r\u00e9sum\u00e9 booklet in PDF format.
